ABOUT

Victor Schut is a fine art photographer working in abstraction, minimalism, and architecture. His photographs transform the ordinary into something arresting — finding geometry, color, and rhythm in details most people walk past.

His work is characterized by a keen sense of minimalism and structure, particularly within urban and architectural settings: clean lines, bold framing, and a deliberate interplay of light and shadow. Rather than simply documenting a place, Victor's photographs ask the viewer to slow down and consider what they're actually looking at.

Victor's photography has been recognized by the reFocus World Photo Annual, the Minimalist Photography Awards, Exposure One Awards (Gold, Abstract), and the Berlin Photo Awards, and was the subject of a solo exhibition, “Perspectiva,” at ACME Studios, The Hague (Nov 2024 – Jan 2025).
